WORKSHOP: Towards Accessible ServicesFTweet
The Young Queer Alliance(YQA) kickstarts its calendar of activities for 2017 with a workshop geared towards the improvement of service provision among LGBTQI in Mauritius. There was the notable presence of several organizations and service providers at the Gold Crest Hotel, for the worskhop title: "Towards Accessible Services"...
Najeeb Fokeerbux, YQA president & Workshop Facilitator, addressing the audience.
The participants, who included both lgbt health providers in HIV/AIDS and representatives of the Mauritius Police Force, related organisations and the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life, were able to share and exchange their views on improving access to service through presentations as well as group activities which were both fun and worthwhile.

The success of the workshop resumes itself in one line which most participants would agree to: "We wished it could last more and we want more..."
